The creative team at Live Space Media is currently basking
in the glory of their most talked about animation project for Kochi Metro Rail
Ltd. ‘Kochi Metro’ the most anticipated rail project initiated jointly by Kerala
and Central Government is in news for obvious reasons. The rapid transit system will be an ideal
solution for the growing traffic blocks and mobility concerns of Kochi.
Live Space Media has been assigned the creative duties of
making of the official ‘Kochi Metro Rail Animation Video’ to be showcased during
project launching ceremony. The video is crafted to showcase the future of
changing Kochi with the arrival of Kochi Metro.
The video features real backgrounds merged seamlessly with high end 3D
animation, something that’s not tried very often among creative professionals. While such visualizations
are common in Hollywood movies ,
creating a similar platform for Kochi Metro within 10 days was challenging says Naveen T. Chandrabose, Project Head, Live Space Media
The team
took this task on shoulders with sheer grit and determination shooting the city
right from Aluva to Pettah over 500 aerial shots from several
buildings. To render a real life feel to the animation video these original
footages were blended with Kochi Metro rail animations. The video
was received with much praise and accolades from both media and public. The
growing number of hits on YouTube is a testimony to that.
